Many Marvellous Medallions

I just love the Medallion Background stamp, that is in the Current Stampin Up Mini Catalogue.  It makes cards so quick and easy.

The Medallion Stamp can even be used on a masculine card.  Supplies: C/S Soft Suede, Vanilla.  Ink Soft Suede, Basic Black. Stamp Sets Medallion, Sanded & Wonderful Favourites. Also a Jumbo brad in vanilla. 

Now for a quick and easy christmas card, there is only 19 weeks left till christmas.  Supplies: C/S Real Red, Whisper White.  Ink Certainly Celery, Real Red. Ribbon Real Red. Gold Brads. The 1 3/4 circle punch fits the centre of the Medallion perfectly.

This card uses the emboss resist technique.  The medallion image is clear embossed on Pink Pirouette C/S.  I have then spritzed and sponged rose red and perfect plum over the image.  Using a paper towel wipe off the excess ink from the embossed image.  Wonderful.
